Virtuoso Marimbist David Hall brings twenty years of experience and passion for the marimba to this unique program of music from around the world. Musical selections from South America, Mexico,
Africa, Japan, Germany, and the USA are performed live on the Mexican marimba, African Balafon, and vintage marimbas and xylophones. Costumes are worn for each separate musical style/culture presented, giving the students further insight. Audiences interact through singing, dancing, rhythmic clapping, and a Q&A session.
